As of May 20, 2024, due to an amendment to the National Health Insurance Act, all hospitals and pharmacies are required to verify identification.

Although this may cause some inconvenience, please ensure to bring a valid ID when you visit.

▶Valid IDs◀

- Resident Registration Card

- Driver’s License

- Passport

- QR Code Mobile ID

- Disability Registration Card

- Foreigner Registration Card

- Any ID with a photo and resident registration number

▶Details◀

1. Patients returning within 6 months are not required to provide additional ID verification.

2. If ID verification is difficult, using a mobile health insurance certificate is recommended. If this is not possible, patients must pay the full amount initially and receive insurance benefits after verifying their ID within two weeks from the date of treatment.

3. Recording identity verification is necessary - a verification system will be developed in the electronic medical record program.

4. Patients under 19 years old and emergency patients can be verified using their resident registration number.
